Teresa holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Saint Mary’s College of California. Her fiction and nonfiction have appeared in Flashquake, Thin Air, Peregrine Journal, SoMa Literary Review, Lynx Eye Journal, Literary Mama, the Berkeley Fiction Review, Mary Online Journal, and The Mag, where she was a featured writer in the Summer 2004 issue. Her story "Magic Fingers" was a finalist in the 2004 Phoebe Journal Winter Fiction Contest.

Teresa leads creative writing workshops through Lakeshore Writers, and AWA Affiliate.

Teresa is currently completing her first novel. She lives with her husband and two sons in Oakland, California.
